REMA WK Low Temperature Curing Vulcanizing
System
The REMA WK Press is designed
for hot vulcanized splicing of 2-ply 220 PIW to 4-ply 440 PIW fabric
conveyor belts. The REMA WK Press comes in two convenient sizes. The
30" wide and 48" wide units handle the most commonly used belt
widths.
- Extremely Lightweight.
- The total weight of the 30" is only 200 lbs. and
the 48" is only 400 lbs.
- No control box to damage. The controls are protected
internally.
- No easy to cut rubber air bags.
- Four heating elements. Traditional presses use only one
heating element per platen and can lead to localized hot and cold spots.
- Preset mechanical pressure system. The use of a torque
wrench to tighten the press assures that proper pressure is applied
right every time!
- Shorter splice steps.
- Shelf life of the splice material is 1 year.

PRESSURE COMPENSATION PAD
The unique pressure compensation pad is an effective and
durable option to air bags. The pad is filled with a highly thermal
conductive gel that expands as the press reaches vulcanizing temperature.
This action creates equal pressure forces and steady conduction of heat to
the entire splice area. |

Vulcanization
at 230 F
The
Rema WK System produces the highest splice results.
This is achieved through low temperature vulcanization at 230 F (110 C).
